Honey Soy Baked Chicken

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 3 tbsp light soy
  • 2 tbsp dark soy
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp chilli flakes
  • 1 tbsp chopped garlic

Garnish:

  • 1 tsp toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp chopped spring onions

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 356°F or 180°C fan.
  • Take a baking tray large enough to fit the chicken comfortably, and score the chicken to marinate and cook evenly.
  • Marinade: Mix the ingredients together except the garnish.
  • Pour it over the chicken and let it marinate for an hour.
  • Place chicken skin side up cover and cook for 25-30 minutes and uncovered for another 15-20 minutes or until cooked through.. don’t forget to turn the chicken and squidge in the glaze, also spoon it over halfway through.
  • Serve! Serve with boiled rice or steamed greens, sprinkled with sesame seeds and spring onions.
