Today I am sharing with you one of my art act with loads of love😊! A New Home Congratulations card!
I have made this card for my brother and sister in law’s new home. The lucky card has made it through to a shadow box and now featuring on a wall in their beautiful love nest!
Here are the details of what I used to make this card.
To create the sky I used my favourite combo of colours in the background, I applied Tim Holtz distress ink in “broken china” & “peacock feathers” and “shabby shutters” for the green grass, with a sponge.
To create the clouds and grass patches I water sprayed that ink background in rather big spots and then dried it with my heat gun.
Next I applied a second generation stamping with one of Bo bunny stamps set of “musical notes” to create shadows in the sky. Used the same stamp set for the grass shadows and a gel pen to arrange the white and green flowers in the background.
To arrange the romantic centrepiece I have improvised the following die sets.
